The Poppy reversible quilted vest
Practical yet poetic, The Poppy is a reversible quilted vest designed for quiet versatility and enduring wear. Each one is handmade in limited runs, using thoughtfully sourced fabrics and time-honored construction methods.
Cut and finished entirely by hand, the vest is made to order in our studio. Layers of Indian hand-blocked and screen-printed cotton are stitched together with natural cotton batting, creating a breathable, lightweight warmth that softens and shapes itself to your body over time.
Subtle design details transform this from a simple layer into a cherished staple. Slight variations in print and stitching are evidence of the individual maker’s hand—ensuring that no two vests will ever be the same.
This is slow fashion at its core: considered, durable, and made with human rhythm in mind.
Please note: Indian hand-printed cloths are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the print, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
This fabric is hand dyed. For the couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum with a handful of table salt. This will fix the dye to prevent it from running.
Wash at 30 or 40 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry.
